Samnam Petrochemical Donates Coal Briquettes for Those in Need

On November 5th, Samnam Petrochemical Yeosu Factory donated 12 million won worth of coal briquettes and other living necessities for disadvantaged Yeosu residents.

This donation includes 5,400 coal briquettes, 3.4 million won worth of heating fuel, 4.3 million won worth of living necessities and more. They will be delivered to Yeosu residents currently living on social assistance, such as single senior household, single parent households, households with grandparents raising children, and more.

In addition, on November 8th, a group of Samnam Petrochemical employees called “Samnam One Love Volunteers” plan to deliver the coal briquettes to homes themselves together with Yeosu civil servants and Munsu Community Center employees.

Samnam Petrochemical is currently performing active social service activities, such as a food truck for people with disabilities, low-income bracket housing environment improvement project, and a foodbank.
