Samyang Packaging began its PET bottle manufacturing business in 1986. By building the nation’s first PET bottle recycling plant in 1985, it has since grown into a company that encompasses the whole process from PET bottle production to distribution and to recycling. In order to improve the operational efficiency, the packaging and recycling unit of Samyang Corp. was physically split off in November 2014 and is officially kicked off as Samyang Packaging. Samyang Packaging will keep growing with customers and leap forward to become a global packaging company.
